Diocese of New Ulm seeks applicants for remarriage program

The Diocese of New Ulm’s Office of Family Life is accepting applications for its Preparation for Re-Marriage 2020 program.

The program is for divorced or widowed individuals who plan to remarry in the Church. Couples will have an opportunity to examine their relationship through topics such as Commitment and Sacramental Marriage; Understanding their Relationship -Similarities and Differences; Closure of Previous Relationship and Marital Spirituality.

Participants are sought for the Saturday, Aug. 22 program, which will take place at the Church of St. Aloysius Jubilee Center at 302 South 10th St. in Olivia, Minnesota from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Rev. Craig Timmerman is conducting the program alongside Don and Lori Clasemann. The Rev. Timmerman’s theological training includes specialized studies about marriage and family life. The Clasemanns were remarried in the Church.

The program fee is $150 per couple, which includes all program materials, lunch, and refreshments. The fee and the registration from – which can be downloaded – must be submitted together.

If you cancel your registration less than 10 working days before your scheduled date, you will be assessed a $35 non-refundable administrative fee.
