Listening House, a day shelter for the homeless, is seeking donations since reopening its doors. | https://listeninghouse.org/
Listening House, a St. Paul day shelter and community center for the homeless, the isolated and the lonely, has reopened its doors after shutting down due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the volunteer program that includes mental health and chemical abuse outreach teams, is still on hold.
According to a recent bulletin from St. Paul's Church of the Assumption Parish, a community partner for Listening House, the center is accepting donations of hygiene products and new clothing including men’s and women’s pants, socks, shoes, underwear and deodorant. Financial contributions are also needed and welcome.
Listening House, affectionately known as “the living room of the homeless,” was founded in 1983. The center serves 40 to 140 people every day.
Mail or drop-off donations at 464 Maria Avenue, St. Paul, MN 55106.
