Fr. Tony Wroblewski of St. Mary Star of the Sea Church in Duluth informed parishioners how the church will be moving forward after the COVID-19 pandemic shifted the church for quite a few months.
Wroblewski noted in the Sept. 13 bulletin that while the face masks will be staying around for a while, the church is ready for what’s next.
“Over the next few weeks, we have rescheduled First Communion, Confirmation and welcoming new Catholics and Confirming them," he said in the bulletin. "On Sept. 20 at the 10:30 a.m. Mass, we will have First Holy Communion for our young children."
Wroblewski added that on Saturday, Sept. 26, the church will host Mass, which would have been done at the Easter Vigil if the coronavirus hadn’t put the nation in crisis status.
He also welcomed Stella Maris Academy students for the new school year.
“It had been touch and go as to whether we would even be able to have in-person classes," Wroblewski said. "But the Diocese did decide that we could safely bring back our kids, and give them a much better educational experience if they were back in their classes with their teachers."
