The Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis will hold its next installment in the Cuppa Joe series Nov. 2. The series discusses St. Joseph during a year when the church is encouraged to grow in devotion to the husband of Mary.
The virtual installment will examine how the saint is the patron of a happy death.
The ninth installation of monthly Cuppa Joe series starts at 4 p.m.
"Listen as Deacon Dan Gannon shares about St. Joseph, patron of a happy death," the archdiocese posted on Facebook.
The talks have been held on the first Tuesday of each month. There will be 10 sessions by the time the series finishes in December. The talks are being held virtually, to encourage as much involvement from the parishes as possible.
Additional topics in the series have been St. Joseph as the “Delight of Saints,” “Our Spiritual Father,” “Young Husband of Mary,” “Virginal Father of Jesus,” “Just and Reverent Man,” “Savior of the Savior,” “Adorer of Christ” and “Silent Witness.”
According to Britannica, Nov. 2 is also All Souls’ Day, a holy day on which Catholics pray for those who have died and are awaiting entrance into heaven.
