Give to the Max Day 2021 helped the Catholic Charities of the Diocese of St. Cloud raise almost $15,000, around 75% of its goal of $20,000, the organization stated on social media.

CCSC took to Facebook to thank everyone who contributed to the Nov. 18 fundraiser and reminded the faithful that donations are still welcome.

“Thank you to all who donated to Catholic Charities through Give to the Max Day 2021," CCSC wrote in a Nov. 19 Facebook post. "We appreciate your support and generosity in helping Catholic Charities to serve and enhance human dignity for people of all faiths and beliefs.

"It’s not too late! Still want to give? GiveMN enables charitable giving any time and any place, allowing people to donate with ease and enthusiasm. Donate to Catholic Charities now at givemn.org/organization/ccstcloud.”

Catholic Charities of the Diocese of St. Cloud provides services such as behavioral health, affordable and transitional housing, food, clothing, household items and holiday gifts to people in central Minnesota, according to the charity's website. Catholic Charities Emergency Services Food Shelf provides a week's worth of food supplies once a month to households in the St. Cloud area with people who are unable to leave the house to get food or do not have access to healthy food, the website states.

"We are a nonprofit organization supported by generous individuals, foundations, businesses and faith communities. At the heart of what Catholic Charities does is people. People seeking help, people offering help and people who believe that we are all a community of neighbors, here in Central Minnesota. The most important people to us are our clients: those whom we humbly serve."
