Parishioners of the Church of St. Timothy in Blaine, Minnesota took advantage of the church's offer to create a special video for Father's Day.

The church encouraged parishioners to send photos of themselves with their fathers, or fathers could share photos with their children. All the submitted photos were used in the video, shared on YouTube and Facebook.

In honor of all the parish fathers, St. Tim’s made a $5 contribution to Catholic Charities for each photo submitted, the church said on Facebook.

The Church of St. Timothy will reopen on June 28 on a limited basis and requiring advance registration, the Rev. Joe Whelan said, the church website reported.

“We will come to a time when we experience a revived, even more resilient faith, not of our own making, but a deepened faith, tested certainly by sacrifice and absence, yet gifted us entirely by the grace of God. That is the logic of incarnation-what is freely given is returned, overflowing and in good measure, in ways that will surprise and delight us,” he said on the website in a post about Coronavirus and Catholic Exceptionalism
