Saint Mary's University of Minnesota student Quentin Hietpas won't graduate until 2021, but he's already landed a job and jump-started his career before finishing school.

The undergraduate accounting major landed a job at Enova Illumination, a company that specialized in cordless LED surgical headlights, digital microscopes and other equipment, the university said in a press release. Hietpas works for the company by balancing their books and helping with Enoca's remote servers.

“I wear a lot of hats. It’s been a challenge, but it’s also very rewarding, too,” Hietpas said, the release reported. “We’re expanding, and that expansion comes with some growing pains, but it’s also leading to some really great opportunities.”

While Hietpas is excited to graduate and dedicate all his time to the company and other new jobs, he said he's been grateful for his time at Saint Mary's University.

“I’ve had some of the best professors I’ve ever had who really love to teach,” Hietpas said in the release. “I’ll be pretty excited to have my degree and see where that takes me. When I’m ready to take the next plunge, I think the master’s program in accounting is definitely a contender for where I’ll go next.”
